Wish You Were Here
An ongoing series of 12"x16" / 30x41 cm paintings.
A body of work that responds to the way we consume landscape imagery through picture postcards. Based on my own postcard collection, these paintings reflect the filters, metallic onlays and framing devices that are the landscape postcard’s version of the sublime. Titles are taken from the handwritten text on the back of the found cards.
