I spent time in the collection talking to the children and young people about the depiction of trees across diverse cultures in their ceramics collection, and then we went back to the studio for a painting session. Everyone was so engaged and happy to be part of a big project like this and their drawings will be an amazing addition to my Leaving Earth book. When asked how the day went, once young participant just wrote FUN in huge letters. It was a fantastic day.
